I don't think logging in to some site with the official steam login button can harm your account
It's just an authenticator. (The login will give the site your accounts id and stuff, not your credentials.)

How is this supposed to work?
It used to be a script, which added all free licenses to your steam account (or at least all steamdb knew at that time).
Now it's supposed to do the same thing - but via the steam console instead of the browser console…
the last time i ran the script was 21st dec last year...and it worked well...it looks like steam has updated their system on limiting the number of 'free' licence activations...some says around 20 activations/hour
